The Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research

We are a professional membership organization for those dealing with the challenges and issues of intercultural relations.
Our members work within many professions - industry, consulting, training, media, language education, students, higher education, arts, and counseling. SIETAR India members bring a vast array of experience and perspectives to the field of intercultural relations, both in the USA and around the world.
SIETAR India is an organization that provides connection for people from many cultural and professional backgrounds who explore differences on many levels; engage in research, discussions, sharing of best practices and learning from each other
SIETAR India is a member of a network of similar SIETAR SOCIETIES that span the globe. Society members connect by attending conferences at home and abroad, by networking, and by sharing information and resources. Its members initiate joint-projects, consulting and training assignments; foster personal and professional growth; develop national and international friendships

SIETAR India was launched in August 2006 with the Inaugural Conference “More Masala for the Melting Pot - Sharing Cultures and Competence for Collaboration”
